Our team works closely with Primary Care Networks, GP practices, local authorities, social workers, voluntary sector organizations, community centers, and faith groups to identify and engage with Unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers, and Young Carers.

We aim to develop effective relationships with key staff, agree action plans, establish communication pathways, and provide updates. By sharing successes, we support the development of good practice across primary healthcare, social care, and community services in the borough.

This role requires relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education, or voluntary and community sector. You'll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.

As a Care and Support Specialist, you should be an excellent communicator and able to establish relationships at all levels. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
