KBR, Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Management Expert to join their team in the Integrated Solutions Information Management department. As an integral part of this team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining complex engineering data across various projects and locations.

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and tools, such as AVEVA Engineering and Hexagon Smartplant Foundation. You will have the chance to develop and implement Class Libraries and manage the setup, maintenance, and operation of Engineering Data Warehouses. Additionally, you will be working closely with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure seamless data submission and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and serve as the focal point for all data management activities.
  • Liaise with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure completion and compliance of data submission.
  • Configure Grids for data entry, manage tags, and support development of Engineering key list data.
  • Define and maintain corporate/project Class Libraries, manage data to other applications, and demonstrate strong understanding of IM and Data Management concepts.
  • Manage multi-location, IM data management teams, liaise with Client and/or Construction and/or Completions team personnel, and define and develop data reports on completeness and statistics.

This position requires a university degree qualification or equivalent oil and gas industry experience. Relevant skills and qualifications include experience in an engineering, designer, or information management role; understanding of relational database applications; experience with AVEVA Engineering/information standards manager (ISM), Life Cycle Server, SMARTPLANT Foundation; knowledge of AVEVA Net, AVEVA Engage, and AIM; SSRS, OBIEE, Power BI reporting; PML, procedural SQL; and project tag numbering schema.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. The ideal candidate will be based in the Houston, TX area, with occasional travel required.
