Job Purpose:

We are looking for a talented Information Technology Security Engineer to support our IT security efforts across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing information security systems, conducting risk assessments, and providing regular security updates to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT Operations and service providers on security-related tasks.
  • Implement and manage information security systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Support the Information Security Manager in executing the Cyber Security Strategy.
  • Assist with IT projects, ensuring security requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and processes.
  • Conduct internal security audits and manage remediation efforts.
  • Provide regular security updates and reports to the leadership team.
  • Conduct risk assessments, addressing vulnerabilities as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging cyber threats and advise on protective measures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Expertise in information security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001).
  • Skills: Strong communication, risk management, and project management skills.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT security technologies (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft).

Desirable Skills:

  • Certifications: IT Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or PCIP.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methods like Prince2 or Agile, including financial and resource management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with modern security tools, including SIEM products and firewalls.
