**Salary:** £70 per hour.

**Job Description:**

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Design and Project Managers in the delivery of project scope. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing delivery of Design Substantiation Reports (DSR) updates through the application of process, domain knowledge, and experience.
  • Carrying out analysis of existing concrete structures to ensure that they continue to meet specified safety functional requirements.
  • Providing Subject Matter Expert advice on civil/structural engineering matters.
  • Liaising as necessary with other design teams and the project's nuclear safety team.
  • Ensuring effective Quality Management, delivering through compliance with the companies Business Management System and Technical Manual.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

A degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably Chartered Engineer status, and member of a relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience and capable of registration with the Engineering Council at CEng level.
