About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive community in Hammersmith and Fulham.

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborating with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support classroom management and behavior support, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • A patient, caring, and empathetic approach, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment, promoting diversity and equality.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education is a plus, but not required.
