Job Summary:
Tru Talent is seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join their team in Wolverhampton. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 with the potential for an OTE of £55,000.

About the Job:
This MET Strip Fitter role involves repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art body shop. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter in a busy body shop and possess strong teamwork and self-motivation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow correct repair techniques and produce work meeting factory specifications and customer satisfaction
• Conduct detailed inspections to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Repair or replace damaged mechanical, electrical, and trim components
• Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards

Requirements:
• A recognized apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician, supplemented by a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI/ SVQ)
• Previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter in a busy body shop, with strong teamwork and self-motivation skills
• Experience with Geometry work and 4-wheel Alignment
• The ability to work to the highest standard, demonstrating sound knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and diagnostic training
