About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domiciliary Care worker. This rewarding role offers a sense of security and achievement, as you provide essential care services to older vulnerable people in their own homes.

The successful candidate will work within a rolling shift pattern of 7 days per fortnight, with flexible shift options including early, late, or full-time shifts. Our main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Promoting independence and choice among service users
  • Ensuring the overall health and wellbeing of those we care for
  • Fostering a culture that adheres to the SSSC code of practice and HRM policies and procedures
  • Providing assistance with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Preparing nutritious meals
  • Administering medication when necessary
  • Maintaining a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light household tasks

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have an acceptable standard of English and possess good communication skills. Having a driver's license is preferred but not essential.

Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
