Motorscape Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Motorscape Technologist to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars in Hartlepool.

Rubber Duck Cars is a leading car dealership with a turnover of approximately 250 million and employing over 700 members of staff across 12 dealerships and 1 dedicated service centre.

Job Overview:

We require a skilled Motorscape Technologist to work alongside our existing team in our busy service department. As a Motorscape Technologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, undertaking vehicle repairs and maintenance, and providing accurate and detailed reports on vehicle condition, work performed and recommendations for further repairs or maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Undertake vehicle repairs and maintenance to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports on vehicle condition, work performed, and recommendations for further repairs or maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to deliver exceptional service and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

• A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance.
• A full and valid driving licence.
• Possess a flexible approach and a positive attitude.
• Be committed to achieving complete customer satisfaction.
• Help achieve sales targets as set out by Service Manager.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard at all times.
• Comply with Health & Safety Procedures.
• Comply with Company administrative procedures i.e. use clock card machine, complete job cards etc.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, plus uncapped bonus potential, taking the total earnings package to £50,000+ per year.
