Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Housing Disrepair Litigator to join our client's expanding team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and litigating a caseload related to housing conditions cases.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a litigated caseload related to housing disrepair cases.
  2. Provide expert legal representation for clients in court proceedings and hearings.
  3. Consult with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and update them on case progress.
  4. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and precedents related to housing disrepair litigation.
  5. Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients striving for optimal outcomes.
  6. Work collaboratively with other legal professionals and support staff within the firm.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housing Disrepair Litigator.
  2. Qualified solicitor/Legal Executive. Ideally gained litigation experience over a period of 3 years.
  3. Competent Civil Litigator.
  4. Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  5. Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a busy caseload effectively.
  6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
  7. Clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal.
