Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hardware and Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our client's Energy or Nuclear team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of control systems, field cabling systems, and control panel design.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an engineering environment, be computer literate, and have a methodical approach to interpreting customer requirements and delivering project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience of/competent in control systems within the energy market (or similar utility)
- Field cabling systems including surveying and identifying routes, cable calculations for sizing and earthing/protection
- Control panel design incorporating PLC, I/O, Comms cards, UPS's etc
- Education to at least degree level in relevant subject or HND with additional experience of at least 5 years post graduate experience or 6 years post HND experience on successful project implementation in the above areas of expertise
- Computer literate with Word, Autocad and Excel experience
- Understanding of Full Project Lifecycle
