Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Professional to join our team in designing industrial automation and control projects across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in areas such as Control Panel Design, General Arrangements, Schematic Wiring/Circuit Designs, Motor Control Centres (MCC), PLC Hardware, Switchgear, Drive Systems, and Equipment Selection.

You will work with Electrical CAD systems like AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan, or Promis-E, and be responsible for utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control panels, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Develop MCCs, PLC hardware, switchgear, drive systems, and equipment selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Electrical CAD systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
  • 37.5-hour working week with flexible hours.

Location

Commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Tamworth, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Market Harborough, Northampton, Warwick, Leamington, Rugby, Northampton. Hybrid working makes commuting easier.
