HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunity

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in East Kilbride. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products on behalf of our clients and their customers.

The Role:

  • Location: East Kilbride, G74 5LP
  • Salary: £30,132.47 Per Annum
  • Shift Pattern: Rotating 4 On/2 Off Nights
  • Hours: 37.5 p/w with 30mins unpaid break
  • Monthly Pay
  • Parking Onsite

HGV Class 1 Driver Responsibilities:

  • General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer's premises or other locations.
  • Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
  • Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
  • Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

  • A full UK C+E licence
  • 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
  • Excellent driving skills
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • No previous disqualifications
  • Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
