A leading professional services firm is seeking a highly skilled Group Project Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. The company is a world leader in providing expert advice and guidance to businesses across various sectors.

Job Description:

As a Group Project Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing all financial matters for one of the company's key clients. You will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for:

  • Preparing the annual group budget for each project, including billings, earnings, resourcing, and expenditure, while assessing profitability.
  • Preparing the quarterly group forecast, highlighting and analyzing variances to produce the forecast for the next quarter for each project.
  • Conducting month-end reviews, preparing the month-end reporting finances for review by the Financial Director, and analyzing variances.

Project-Specific Activities:

  • Producing cash flow schedules for projects worldwide.
  • Dealing with foreign exchange profits/losses monthly due to the geographical location of the company's projects.
  • Managing financial and contractual queries with clients and sub-consultants on a daily basis.
  • Working with junior accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and chasing up debtors.
  • Producing project dashboards with accompanying analysis for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with business leaders to continually improve processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fully qualified accountant with experience in project accounting and business partnering. You will have great attention to detail and be comfortable working with creative teams on a daily basis.
