Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
  • Manage the design process, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance
  • Collaborate with clients and project construction teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Implement temporary works design principles and permanent works design standards
  • Coordinate with external consultants and third-party checkers
  • Engage with clients and project construction teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • Experience in designing underground structures and tunnelling temporary works
  • MSC in Civil and Structural Engineering or Degree in Geotechnical and Mining
  • Design consultancy experience
  • Chartered status or working towards
  • CDM Health and Safety knowledge
  • Technical skills in structural design
