About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our HR team at AAK Runcorn. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning interventions that improve operational capability and ensure learner proficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our production, technical, engineering, and health & safety teams.
  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify training requirements and develop local training plans that align with our strategic direction.
  • Manage the training budget and optimize ROI by assessing value for money against learner experience and learning outcomes.
  • Create new learning content and supervise the creation of learning materials for adult learners.
  • Deliver in-house programs with knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm, achieving expected learning outcomes.
  • Participate in audits to ensure training conformance to customer codes of practice, industry standards, and local legislation.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in learning and development, preferably within the food manufacturing industry. You will also have a keen interest in leadership development, learning technologies, or competency frameworks.

You will have a degree in human resources, learning and development, or a related field, or extensive experience in learning and development. Proficiency in MS Office and a strong grasp of system utilization are essential. Familiarity with Articulate 360, FlexiQuiz, and Powerplus e-learning authoring tools would be advantageous.
