About the Job

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and empathetic Care Assistant to join our care team at Barchester Healthcare. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity and independence throughout.

Your day-to-day duties will involve assisting with personal care, preparing meals and snacks, and participating in activities designed to stimulate their minds and bodies. You will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and continence management
  2. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  3. Follow care plans and report any changes or concerns to relevant staff
  4. Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other healthcare professionals
  5. Participate in activities designed to promote resident engagement and stimulation

Salary: £19,500 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
