Berry Recruitment is seeking a diligent and experienced Cleaning Operative to work for a prominent manufacturer in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning Operative. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Cleaning Tasks: Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying waste bins.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Cleaning toilets, urinals, and hand basins, as well as suction cleaning carpeted areas and spot cleaning carpets where necessary.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors.
  • Window Cleaning: Cleaning and washing windows and glass internally, ensuring they are smear-free and dried properly.
  • Supply Management: Replenishing consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
  • Heavy Cleansing Tasks: Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as requested by the Supervisor.
  • Equipment Movement: Moving equipment and furniture for storage or office rearranging purposes.
