About the Role
Hargreaves Lansdown is seeking an IT Audit Manager to join its IT Audit Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end IT internal audit engagements, ensuring high-quality audit work, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Audit to lead end-to-end audit engagements.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
- Help Hargreaves Lansdown achieve its objectives by applying a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes.
- Apply strong analytical skills to consider how data can be mined for data-led insights and effective audit testing.
- Work on one's own initiative or lead small teams that may include third-party auditors.
- Confidently feed into the audit planning process using a strategic standpoint, built on experience.
- Mentor and coach others in the team.
- Always seek to consider improvements in methodology and general ways of working, including maintenance of an effective QA framework.
About You
- You will be CISA qualified or working towards your CISA qualification, and/or other relevant qualifications such as CRISC/CISSP, displaying a growth mindset.
- You will have experience in auditing technical Security and Resilience IT controls across the technology stack, for example, at application and infrastructure layers.
- You will have experience in auditing transformation/change, in particular, IT change.
- You will have a working knowledge of data analytics.
- You will have proven delivery of independently managing end-to-end audits with high-quality reporting.
- You will have strong analytical/communication and influencing skills.
- You will have strong problem-solving skills.
- You will have a high level of attention to detail.
- Internal IT audit experience within financial services is preferred.
Interview Process
There will be a two-stage interview process for this role, including a task. The second-stage interview will be face-to-face in our Bristol office.
Working Schedule
This role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however, for this role, we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you to work from home and come into the office 2 days a week.
