Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of a planned programme of activities tailored to the needs of children in our care;
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development;
  • Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure seamless integration of children with special needs;
  • Support colleagues in upholding high standards of care and education within the nursery;
  • Adhere to our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of children;
  • Liaise with parents and carers to provide regular updates on children's progress;
  • Participate in out-of-hours activities, including training sessions and staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a day nursery setting;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted guidelines;
  • Empathy and understanding of children's needs and development;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports;
  • Organizational and administrative skills.
