About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Churchill Retirement Living, a leading provider of retirement living solutions in the UK. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of our new development in Westwood Cross, Kent, ensuring that all deadlines are met and the development is built to the highest standards.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the building site, including health and safety, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control. You will work closely with our Contracts Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong background in construction management, with experience of working on residential developments. You will also have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and be able to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction of the development, ensuring that all deadlines are met and the development is built to the highest standards.
  • Oversee all aspects of the building site, including health and safety, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control.
  • Work closely with our Contracts Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Manage a team of site staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Black or white CSCS card.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • First Aider at Work qualification.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others.
