About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Grab Driver to support our excavation and reinstatement projects in the telecommunications industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in transporting essential materials between project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation of Materials: Efficiently move spoil, stone, and sand between project sites, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up.
  • Team Coordination: Liaise with excavation teams to prioritise tasks and avoid delays.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure all worksites comply with Streetworks requirements and are left safe and clean.
  • Paperwork and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of your daily tasks, including job sheets, risk assessments, and plant sheets.
  • Technology Utilisation: Use company-provided technology to complete assigned tasks.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines and identify potential hazards.
  • Asset Management: Care for and maintain company-assigned equipment.
  • Customer Service: Treat internal and external customers with respect and professionalism.
  • Industry Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver's license
  • HGV Licence
  • NRSWA certification
  • CSCS card
  • C+E license
  • Driver CPC card
  • Lorry Mounted Crane Certification
  • Clamshell Bucket Ticket
  • Telecommunications industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
