About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Russian-English Translator and Editor to join our team at ICS. As a key member of our Translation team, you will play a vital role in translating, editing, and proofreading content from Russian into English across a wide range of text types.

As a Russian-English Translator and Editor, you will work closely with our diverse team of language enthusiasts to deliver high-quality translated content to our clients. You will be responsible for:

  • Translating, editing, and proofreading content from Russian to English with precision and accuracy
  • Working across various sectors, including iGaming (casino and sports betting)
  • Providing constructive and professional feedback to freelance collaborators to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Assessing source texts and using linguistic expertise to flag any issues
  • Communicating proactively with Project and Senior Managers to ensure visibility across all tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be a native-level English speaker with an advanced knowledge of Russian
  • To be a qualified translator, meeting one of the following criteria:
    • Hold a translation or language-related degree
    • Hold a degree in any subject and have two years of professional translation experience
    • Have five years of professional translation experience
  • To have exceptional attention to detail
  • To be familiar with CAT tools, including memoQ and other localisation software
  • To be receptive to receiving and acting upon constructive feedback
  • To have the ability to organise and manage a number of time-sensitive linguistic tasks
