Maintenance Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Class 1 Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production and packaging facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain production and packaging facilities, checking, testing, and electrical maintenance of plant machinery and components, and replacement of defective parts.
  • Plan, record, and report on work carried out.
  • Work in accordance with Health, Safety & Quality Policy, safety principles, and health and safety legislation.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of plant maintenance and development of plant maintenance procedures.
  • Spare part sourcing and management.

Requirements:

  • Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical maintenance).
  • Plant maintenance experience of control systems, control panels, inverter drives, and soft start systems, HMI, PLC, ethernet communication, proximity sensors, small/medium power distribution systems.
  • Effective investigation and resolution of faults.
  • CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) experience.
