Windows Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Windows Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline Windows infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation scripts and tools to improve Windows infrastructure management
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable product delivery
  • Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation of Windows environments
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation and system management
  • Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate the provisioning of Windows resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Apply agile methodologies to manage and deliver product increments efficiently
Requirements:
  • Ability to achieve UK SC Clearance (UK Passport holder)
  • Previous experience as a Windows Automation Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and administration
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management
  • Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management principles
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
