Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 5 Practice Nurse to join our team at Neptune Medical Centre, located in Argyll & Bute. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team, leading the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients with complex health needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist primary care, considering patient safety, privacy, and dignity. This will include delivering appropriate treatment, screening, and advice to patients within their professional competence and in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.

In addition, the successful candidate will undertake preventative health programmes such as travel and vaccination clinics, new patients screening, and audiometry. They will also provide safe, evidence-based, efficient, and individualised patient care, undertaking technical nursing treatments and procedures for patients with complex/specialist healthcare needs.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,388 per annum, plus benefits, including a generous pension scheme and opportunities for professional development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
