Job Title: Doncaster Region Engineering Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Lead to oversee our engineering operations in the Doncaster region. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and supervise the delivery of maintenance services across multiple sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of building services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) program, and reactive maintenance (RM), ensuring compliance with building operating manuals and contractual agreements.
- Lead a team of engineers in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including fault finding, testing, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and services.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Coordinator and Management team to schedule contractor access and manage site resources efficiently.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing procedures and develop strategies to improve the overall efficiency and quality of maintenance services.
- Train and supervise junior engineers in safe working practices, risk assessment techniques, and best operational methods.
- Monitor and analyze engineering performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Contract Delivery Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including asset collections and condition surveys, to inform future planning and decision-making.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and management on matters related to engineering operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role or industry.
- Knowledge of building services, mechanical and electrical engineering, and project management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
