Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Global Oil and Gas Risk Management department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our operating facilities and ensuring the effective implementation of maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze maintenance spending and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess planning and scheduling effectiveness and develop strategies to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Ensure the completion of assigned maintenance work and mentor junior engineers.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to benchmark maintenance organizations and develop sustainable plans to improve performance.
  • Benchmark and prepare reports on the effectiveness of maintenance processes.
  • Work on an enterprise level to forecast procurement strategy for annual demand.
  • Assist in the implementation of approved programs and provide training sessions.
  • Assess turnaround and inspection programs and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate to a new location.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in refining or petrochemical facilities.
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of technical competence in maintenance programs and activities.
  • Strong hands-on experience in oil and gas maintenance organization in the following fields is preferred:
    • Risk-based processes such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance
    • Risk-Based Maintenance
    • Totally Productive Maintenance
    • Spare parts and general materials procurement strategies
    • Maintenance techniques and programs
    • Best-in-class Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, and work prioritization
    • Maintenance budgeting and spending control methods
    • Field maintenance methodology
