About the Role
The successful candidate will serve as the Technical Lead for Laboratory Operations, driving the development of new products and processes that meet the high standards of our client's customers. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for managing laboratory staff, conducting experiments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your strong technical background and leadership skills will enable you to guide the team towards achieving its goals and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new product lines and test methods in line with customer demands and business priorities.
- Oversee the supervision and training of laboratory staff, ensuring they maintain their technical skills and operate safely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with current and future legislation and ensure compliance in the laboratory.

Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a degree-level qualification and several years' experience in the coatings industry. You will have a proven track record in product development, formulation, and testing, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Experience with paint and ink formulations is essential, along with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. A strong understanding of laboratory operations and staff management is also critical for success in this role.
