About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various needs, including physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse, and autism.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing social support to individuals, assisting them to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities.
  • Administering and monitoring medication, as required.
  • Assisting individuals with personal care, promoting their wellbeing by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
  • Helping individuals maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks and providing practical support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Full UK Driving License.

  • The ability to work flexibly, including weekends, shift patterns, and sleepovers, as required.
