Nursery Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join Elan Nursery and Preschool as a Preschool Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals for children aged 3 to 4 years in our Preschool setting.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 in Food Hygiene (preferably Level 3) and will be able to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with environmental health regulations.
Main Responsibilities include:
- To identify and cater to individual dietary requirements, including allergies
- To maintain high standards of personal hygiene and uniform
- To enforce the Food Policy and prevent the use of High Risk foods in recipes
- To coordinate lunch and snack services, ensuring food safety and presentation
- To communicate effectively with colleagues and provide support with allergy information and substitutes
- To clean the main kitchen after each service
Working Conditions: Full-time, permanent position with an 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday. No weekend work required.
