Nelson Recruitment Services is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our client's team in the hospitality industry. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Replenishment: Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including cleaning equipment and utensils.
- Pot Washing: Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen.
- Rotating Stock: Rotate stock to ensure that older items are used before they expire.
- Serving Customers: Provide exceptional customer service by serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handling Food: Handle food safely and hygienically to prevent cross-contamination.
Requirements:
- Level 1 Food and Hygiene Certificate: Possess a valid Level 1 Food and Hygiene certificate.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Flexibility: Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
