As a Features Assistant, you will be responsible for writing features, commissioning opinion pieces and debates, managing our bloggers, and finding GPs who are making a difference in their field.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging features and articles for our magazine and website.
- Commission and edit views, blogs, and debates from industry experts and thought leaders.
- Manage our blogger network and ensure high-quality content is published regularly.
- Research and identify GPs who are making a positive impact in their field and feature them in our magazine and online.
- Contribute to news and investigations, and be the voice of Pulse on social media.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan and produce high-quality content on a daily basis.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write engaging features and articles.
- Ability to network and build relationships with industry experts and thought leaders.
- Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
- Some form of journalism experience, such as school/university newspaper or website, local paper, blogs, etc.
