Job Summary:

  • We are actively recruiting for an experienced CNC Turnerable to program set and operate 2axis Fixed Head CNC Lathes due to the expansion of the engineering team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 2 axis fixed head CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing new CNC programs long hand at the machine with little or no supervision.
  • Editing pre-written programs, full machine setup including material, tooling, speeds, and feeds.
  • Carry out in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
  • Producing precision machined parts and components to tight tolerances, up to 3m in length.

Requirements:

  • Proven time served experience in programming, setting, and operating 2 axis CNC turning machines.
  • Excellent working knowledge of 2 axis CNC Lathes, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances.
  • Experience of Fanuc 210i-T and / or Manual Guide controls would be advantageous.
