Job Title:

Petroleum Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team at Perenco. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions to optimize our hydrocarbon production.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and apply petroleum engineering skills to execute technical projects and optimize production.
  2. Learn and adapt to new industry software to enhance technical capabilities.
  3. Contribute to the development and maintenance of optimization models and data management systems.
  4. Perform comprehensive well and field reviews to understand reservoir dynamics.
  5. Identify strategies to minimize future losses and optimize water injection systems.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of beam pumps, ESPs, and surface pipeline networks.
  7. Provide support for production allocation and forecasting processes.
  8. Identify and develop well work opportunities, including cost analysis and engineering design.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 2:1 Master's degree in Engineering.
  2. Basic knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  3. Flexibility and mobility to travel and explore opportunities across Africa.
  4. Proficient in MS Office and database management.
  5. Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is desirable but not essential.
