About the Role

Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimating Manager to join our team. As a key member of our estimating organisation, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of estimators to generate accurate cost estimates and provision estimates across multiple programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of estimators to deliver high-quality cost estimates and provision estimates
  • Develop and implement standardised estimating approaches across programmes
  • Collaborate with programme leadership teams to determine estimating maturity plans and make prioritisation decisions
  • Engage with external customers to provide guidance and direction on pricing and maturity assessment work

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in estimating in a leadership role within the defence industry
  • Previous experience in leading a team through complex projects
  • Experience in managing multiple customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Operations experience is a must
  • Educated to at least degree level and/or equivalent experience
