About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our team at HC-One. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking charge of resident care in the absence of the Home Manager, and supervising and coaching colleagues to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents and colleagues
  • Take charge of resident care in the absence of the Home Manager
  • Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver exceptional care
  • Ensure compliance with National Standards and the NMC code of practice
  • Contribute to the development of person-centred care plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC Pin
  • Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice
  • Experience of person-centred care planning in a care home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and empathetic approach to care
