Dietitian Specialist Elderly Care Trauma and Orthopaedics

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team in Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients in elderly care, trauma and orthopaedics or general medicine, providing expert nutritional advice and support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized diet plans, and monitoring progress. You will also have the opportunity to work on clinical attachments across various specialties, including surgery, stroke, medicine, gastro and oncology.
This is a band 5 dietitian position that requires a degree or post-graduate diploma in dietetics or nutrition and dietetics, as well as HCPC registration and membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical governance, anthropometry, and BDA professional standards.

Salary: £28,378 - £40,462 per annum (dependent on experience)

- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
