We're seeking a Senior Surveyor/Assistant Manager to play a key role in supporting our property and valuations service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with UK audit teams to review valuations and challenge key assumptions, ensuring accuracy and insight in reports.
  • Lead meetings with audit teams, clients, and advisors to ensure clear communication and drive collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Deliver high-quality valuation reports, assessing risk and reasonableness, and providing market insights to audit teams.
  • Support new business efforts through tenders, proposals, and pitches, helping to grow the firm and expand its services.
  • Provide training and guidance on property trends and compliance to audit teams, establishing yourself as a go-to expert in this area.
  • Assist with non-audit advisory engagements, including tax, rates, due diligence, and strategic reviews, managing diverse projects efficiently.
  • Conduct Capital Allowances assessments, applying your expertise to deliver high-quality work and provide valuable insights to clients.

About You:

  • You hold MRICS qualification with RICS Registered Valuer status, demonstrating your expertise in valuation methods and technical issues.
  • You have extensive experience in valuation across multiple property classes and sectors, showcasing your ability to adapt to diverse client needs.
  • You possess solid knowledge of RICS Valuation Standards, IVS, and the UK National Supplement, ensuring you can apply best practices in your work.
  • You are proficient in valuation methods and technical issues, applying your skills to deliver high-quality work and meet client expectations.
  • You have Capital Allowances knowledge and experience, allowing you to lead in this area and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • You understand commercial leases, ESG, and construction issues, enabling you to navigate complex legal and environmental factors.
  • You possess strong time management, relationship-building, and presentation skills, ensuring you can balance multiple tasks while maintaining top-tier client service.
