Operating Theatre Assistant Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Operating Theatre Assistant to join our team at the Princess Grace Hospital in London. This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, with shifts on Monday to Saturday.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to theatre staff, maintain a clean and safe operating environment, and assist with patient transfers and movements within the theatre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing theatre equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records of theatre activity and supplies
  • Coordinating with the scrub team to ensure efficient operation of theatre procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in theatres as a HCA or significant experience working as a HCA in a Hospital Healthcare Setting
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Computer Systems, including Meditech, Theatre Man, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Infection Prevention Control knowledge

Salary Estimate: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum (based on 37.5 hours/week)
