Key Responsibilities:

Change Management:

As a change management expert, you will serve as an adviser, trainer, coach, and catalyst to drive transformation across all organizational levels.

Business System and Curriculum Development:

You will define, conceptualize, and customize a business-specific system along with associated curriculum and training modules, leveraging your expertise in Lean principles.

People Development:

As a key contributor to our kaizen culture, you will help transition our organization from reliance on external experts to employee-driven process improvements. This includes both formal and informal training at all organizational levels.

Kaizen Event Management:

You will act as the subject matter expert and facilitator for kaizen events, ensuring adherence to event standard work and driving key project initiatives.

Daily Kaizen Deployment:

You will assist in evolving our system-driven approach to a principle-driven approach, including daily kaizen activities, and equipping others to promote a daily kaizen culture.

Kaizen Office Management:

You will oversee the daily operations of the Kaizen Promotion Office, sharing responsibilities, and mentoring team members through process improvements.

Kaizen Office/Lean Deployment Improvement:

You will continuously improve our kaizen processes, demonstrating applicable tools and providing thought leadership within the company.

Kaizen Promotion Office ROI:

You will deliver a significant return on investment by quantifying the benefits of projects in terms of cost savings and/or metric improvements.

Collaboration:

You will support the sharing, replication, and standardization of best practices across all sites, driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead change across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in executing strategic initiatives with a focus on enhancing the Lumentum Production System.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, coupled with excellent facilitation abilities.
  • Proficiency in interpreting, analyzing, and understanding complex data sets.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a continuous improvement or kaizen role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Kaizen experience in the semiconductor, optics, or datacom industry is highly desirable.
