Midwife Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Midwife to join our maternity service at NHS Borders. Our team provides midwifery and consultant led care, with approximately 900 deliveries per year. We aim to deliver family centred maternity care to women and families within the Borders, focusing on the principles of Best Start.

• Work between Labour Ward, Ward 16 (antenatal/postnatal) and Community providing family centred care
• Support and assist the running of the service with a clear focus towards the principles of Best Start

Please note that the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
