Outsourcing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Sumer, based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in outsourcing, who is passionate about delivering exceptional services to clients.

This role involves leading outsourcing projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver tailored solutions. The successful candidate will have responsibility for various accounting tasks, including preparing and reviewing VAT returns, management accounts, consolidations, and cash flows.

• Lead and manage outsourcing projects, working collaboratively with clients to understand their requirements and deliver bespoke solutions.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth, learning, and excellence.

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in outsourcing or a related field, ideally within an accountancy practice. You will be a natural organiser with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, thriving in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong technical skills and experience working with software such as Excel, Xero, Dext, and QuickBooks.

Key qualifications and skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a focus on outsourcing or a similar role
• Studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or can be QBE
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Xero, Dext, and QuickBooks
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service
