About the Role

The Uniphar Group is seeking a highly skilled Master Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing the creation and maintenance of pharmaceutical items, ensuring compliance with MHRA regulations and understanding commodity codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of pharmaceutical items, ensuring compliance with MHRA regulations.
  • Understand and apply commodity codes for pharmaceutical products, ensuring accurate classification and documentation for customs and regulatory purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product management.
  • Stay updated on changes to pharmaceutical regulations and adapt practices accordingly.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of various types of pharmaceutical products, including their characteristics and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a related field; Master's degree or higher qualification is a plus.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Medicines knowledge, previous experience in a retail or hospital setting a distinct advantage.
  • Extremely competent with Microsoft Excel - formulas and macro's.
  • Knowledge of ERPs and other IT systems.
  • Good planning and organizing skills with good time management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in commodity codes and their application to pharmaceutical products.
  • Knowledge of various types of pharmaceutical products and their storage conditions.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and equally as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist, with a focus on regulatory compliance and product management.
  • Proven experience with MHRA regulations and pharmaceutical product management.
