Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Care Support Coordinator to join our team at Tagsa Uibhist (Uist Support). The successful candidate will provide support and supervision to care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to clients in their own homes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social care, with experience in supervising care staff and maintaining accurate records. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with care staff and clients.
  • Provide support and guidance to care staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Liaise with external agencies and organizations to ensure seamless service delivery.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Care or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in social care, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Scottish National Care Standards and Health and Safety regulations.
