About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Kathryn Homes. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing person-centred care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care to our residents
  • Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with effective communication with your fellow colleagues
  • Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing essential physical and mental care as part of Kathryn's whole-team approach to wellbeing
  • Administer medication and carry out medication audits
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Background in leading a team to deliver care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
