Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Safety Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Safety & Environmental team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers
  • Engage with third parties to review and gather supporting safety case evidence
  • Develop safety arguments and produce safety case and safety management documentation
  • Line manage other safety practitioners

Requirements:

  • Clear understanding of safety engineering and assurance principles
  • Experience in safety engineering processes and practices
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders
