Job Description

A Commercial Contracts and Public Procurement Lawyer is required to join a reputable Central Government department to provide high-quality and cost-effective Public Procurement and Commercial services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Central Government team that prides itself in the first-class service it offers to clients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with UK Public Contracts & Procurement experience to draft and advise on every part of the commercial process, from the commercial law implications of a policy to designing the appropriate commercial contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on Contractual agreements
  • Dealing with Commercial contracts, procurement, production and distribution, data and information management, IT, technology, construction, intellectual property, public law, grants
  • Dealing with public procurement matters and frameworks
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent)
  • Commercial Contracts and Procurement experience – preferably in one of the areas outlined above
  • Ideal public sector experience but would consider private
  • Must be operating within IR35
