HVAC Operations Manager Job Description

Our client, a well-established and respected HVAC contractor, is seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for the efficient management of service and maintenance contracts, as well as the operations of the patch.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage a team of mobile engineers to drive service quality standards and productivity.
• Ensure continuous improvements and maintain and grow client relationships to secure contract extensions and remedial works.
• Monitor profit and loss, top and bottom-line figures, and cost control.

Requirements:
• Proven service management or operations management experience leading and planning work for a team of engineers.
• HVAC technical background with knowledge of heating, cooling, wet systems, and plant rooms.
• Confident leading technical conversations with clients discussing systems, service, and maintenance works, schedules, and remedial works.
• Proven client-facing/customer service skills with experience of service and maintenance contract framework and negotiations.
• Drive for continuous professional development, progression, and increasing responsibilities.
• Confident with P&L, budget, and cost control.

What We Offer:
• Basic salary up to £55,000 DOE.
• Car allowance circa £5k per annum.
• Annual bonus targeted on net profit, service, compliance, and engineer development.
• Employee-owned trust profit-sharing scheme, increases with time served.
• Pension.
