Role Overview:

Brook Street Social Care is seeking an experienced Senior or Deputy Manager to lead our residential childcare team. As an Executive Lead for Residential Childcare, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation and review of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring continuity of care and support for the children.
  • Liaise with external agencies, professionals, and families to promote the welfare and development of the children.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYP) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a children's home as a Senior or Deputy Manager.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins.
