Academic Historian

We are seeking an exceptional Historian and Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in the UK. As an academic historian, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of future generations.

• Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students. You will also have the opportunity to inspire enthusiasm for history among your students and help them reach their full potential.

1. Lesson Planning: Create well-structured and informative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
2. Teaching: Deliver high-quality teaching sessions that promote active learning and stimulate student curiosity.
3. Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.

In addition to teaching, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of educational resources and initiatives that promote historical awareness and appreciation.

• Qualifications: A relevant degree and a UK PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential.
• Experience: At least 3 months of teaching experience in the UK is required.
• Skills: Familiarity with the national curriculum and a genuine passion for history and humanities education are highly desirable.
